Admission To Junior Secondary School
At Carissa Hills International Schools, we take pride in delivering the highest standards of education to our students, equipping them to excel in an increasingly competitive global landscape.
Maintaining these standards necessitates not only employing teaching methods tailored to our students’ needs but also ensuring that our students possess the potential and capability to meet our academic requirements. Admission is merit-based, devoid of any considerations based on ethnicity, religion, or social status.
Given that students often come from diverse educational backgrounds, prospective students are required to sit for an entrance examination. Additionally, an informal interview is conducted as part of the holistic assessment process.
Admission decisions are made at the school’s discretion and are final. Nonetheless, unsuccessful applicants may reapply at a later date, especially if they believe they can perform better in the entrance examinations.
Our objective is not to arbitrarily reject applicants but rather to select those who best fit our criteria, which include academic performance and potential. Admission is only denied to those who fail to demonstrate a basic understanding or show a lack of potential.
At CHIS, we believe in providing a holistic education that prepares students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Here we pride ourselves in providing a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
